JooHeng Tan, 3-times World champion sand artist, was asked to build a series of 18-ton dirt sculptures showing kids’ futures.
Under the motto “Dirt is Good”, Tan created some amazing pieces of art, in order to encourage youngsters to explore their surroundings and play in the dirt.
The impressive backdrops were commissioned for an OMO washing detergent advertising campaign.
According to dailymail.co.uk, JooHeng Tan used staggering 18-tonnes of sand for each of the incredible images – topped off with an appearance by his children.
Indeed dirt is good, especially when it’s the result of your kids going out into the world to have fun, explore, learn and create.
What do you think? Who’s going to the beach this week-end to play with the sand?
